Program 2026-27

SEPTEMBER

Wednesday Sept 2 – Terry Parker

I have spent the last 30 years photographing wildlife and wilderness areas throughout Canada’s Northern Territories, Rocky Mountains and most recently, Ontario’s birding hotspots. In the early 90’s I began traveling in the north with Nahanni River Adventures, a raft and canoe adventure outfitter based in Whitehorse, Yukon, photographing for multi-media use. I and owner Neil Hartling later released our book “Alaska to Nunavut: The Great Rivers” featuring 10 spectacular remote rivers. Around this time I began working over several summers with the North-West Territories (NWT) Tourism Board shooting around the territory on contract for the yearly NWT Vacation Guide. Living in beautiful Fernie, BC in the Southern Rockies also allowed me to build a large photofile of animals from this area, including my favourite – the Grizzly Bear.
My extensive experience in the field, as well as being an accomplished naturalist, has earned me recognition as one of Canada’s leading outdoor photographers.
I returned “home” to South Western Ontario where my new pursuits are of the feathered kind. Birds are now my main passion featuring both resident and migratory species throughout the Lake Erie Basin.

Wednesday Sept 16 – Richard Beland

OCTOBER

Wednesday Oct 7 – David McCammon

A successful image is not created in a burst of light at 1/60th of a second. It is manufactured over time through conversation, with attention to details and a depth of photography experience.

An image carefully crafted with refined technique holds timeless power to ignite interest and curiosity while attracting attention. With over 30 years of professional photography experience, David can photograph anything effectively and efficiently. His goal is to exceed your expectations of how your images will look and perform. He begins with your needs and ideas developing them into powerful images to promote your product or service.
Clients inspire me every day. After 30 years, I still love facing new challenges and creating solutions for people.

I love what I do! – David

David earned his Bachelor of Applied Arts in Photographic Arts from Ryerson University and his Master of Education from Nipissing University. He is a participating member of Professional Photographers of Canada (PPOC) with a Master of Photographic Arts (MPA) designation awarded by winning entries in national competitions, earning accreditation in Annual Report, Commercial, Editorial, Portrait and Environmental Wedding Photography and by volunteering with PPOC.
